Nesoddtangen

Nesoddtangen is a village in, and the administrative center of Nesodden in Akershus, Norway. It had 11,795 residents in 2011, about two thirds of the municipality's population. It's located some 4 miles (7 kilometers) south west of Oslo, and passenger ferry is the most used commuting transportation. Of the working population in Nesoddtangen, more than 90% work in Oslo.The name Nesoddtangen is a triple tautology, consistant thing of three parts, small, odd and bar, all being synonyms signifying a small cape or promontory.
